Today’s beer is another product of the Land of the Rising Sun, Japan. Surprisingly, Japan makes some really nice beers and Sapporo is definitely amongst them.
- Name: Sapporo Premium Lager
- Brewery: Sapporo Breweries
- City: Tokyo
- Country: Japan
This tasty Japanese lager pours out with the expected golden color. The white head, one finger of it, is fairly bubbly and settles down pretty quick. The aroma is very faint, the only thing that can be pointed are some grains, but other than that, the smell is pretty much neutral. The taste is similarly like the aroma pretty mild, but you can easily taste the sweet grains at the beginning. The finish is slightly bitter, but again, nothing you haven’t tasted before.
Sapporo proved to be a very pleasant, refreshing and easy to drink. It’s one of those lagers that you will easily have one after another, but it doesn’t leave anything to remember it by. Decent, but forgetable.
