New Zealand’s Finest: Steinlager Classic

Today’s beer originates from the islands lying in the Pacific Ocean, just east of Australia. It’s the land of kiwis, Lord of the Rings, and Kiwis. So far it’s my only beer from this country, but hoping to get some more when I finally manage to visit this wonderful country.

Steinlager Classic

Steinlager classic looks like a typical lager, smells like a typical lager, and tastes like a typical lager. It has a familiar clear golden color, which is topped with a finger white head disappering quite fast. The smell is malty with a small presence of grains. The taste starts sweet, and finishes with a pleasantly bitter aftertaste. It’s not watery, and the relatively high carbonation makes it a perfect summer refreshment.

  • Style: Pale Lager
  • ABV: 4,8%
  • Ingredients: water, malted barley, hops
